We are pleased to accept both private and NHS patients. If you aren't sure about what your entitlements are, give our staff a call and we can discuss it with you.
NHS VOUCHERS
You may be entitled to NHS assistance towards your eye care costs if you are:
Aged under 16, or between 16 and 18 in full time education
Eligible for an NHS complex lens voucher
Receiving certain benefits, including Universal Credit
Are named on a valid NHS Certificate for full help with health costs
Standard NHS eye tests occur every 2 years, but if you are concerned about your sight than visit us in practice. If it is clinically necessary, we can perform an NHS eye test earlier than the standard schedule and you will still be covered. When you come in for your eye test, we may ask to see proof that you are eligible for an NHS Optical Voucher. Don’t be concerned though, the process is usually straightforward!
If you have questions about the NHS sight testing we offer or if you want to book your appointment, visit us in practice or give a member of our friendly, trained staff a call and discuss the best options for you.
